Gotta Minute Film Festival is Here!
Gotta Minute is Western Canada’s first film fest for Commuters.

Wait for it! Watch for it! The Gotta Minute Film Festival is coming soon! But don’t look for us in a theatre! This September 24th- 30th, watch for our program in Edmonton’s LRT system and Calgary’s CTrain system where digital screens will light up with a program of One-Minute Silent Short Films for One and All - Every 5 minutes! Gotta Minute is Western Canada’s first Film Festival for Commuters, proudly brought to you by PATTISON Onestop and The Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta (FAVA).

Celebrating 5 years, Gotta Minute will return to Edmonton this fall with a program of 36 ONE MINUTE SILENT short films. Our program includes shorts in all genres, including live-action, documentary, creative non-fiction, experimental and animated films created by local, national and international filmmakers. Gotta Minute is designed to connect emerging and award-winning filmmakers with general audiences of all ages.

NEW this year and in celebration of our 5th anniversary, GMFF expands into Calgary with films screening in the CTrain Transit System and Calgary International Airport. This expansion adds a significant increase in exposure for our filmmakers!

So what’s happening above ground in Edmonton?
